The Dordogne Building Company is run by François Castanet and his bilingual team, Olivier, Rupert and Christopher.

We cover all areas of building and renovating work: foundations and all ground works, fosse septiques, stone walls, tiling, plastering, plumbing, heating, roofing, roof timbers, joinery, veluxes, green energy. This takes away the stress of having to find different artisans for each different job.

No job is too big or too small!

We also hire out our digger with its experienced driver for all your outdoor projects.

We like to work with traditional materials as far as possible and know all the ups and downs of old Périgourdine houses.

When we start a job we continue it until it is finished; no disappearing acts!

We work within a 40 Km radius of Bergerac, but will consider most jobs.

We offer you free and rapid estimates translated into English if you wish. We also sort out building permits and other paperwork for you at no extra charge.

We keep in regular contact with our overseas clients, sending photos and e-mails to show the progress that is being made.

Our prices are competitive and our work and approach extremely professional.

François has 30years building experience and knows the ins and outs of building in France. He is always ready to help advise you in your project.
