Thailand Cultural Centre is a national institution serving as a centre for social education focusing on art and culture. The centre hosts various kinds of performing arts such as operas, classical music and ballet by Thai, Asian and international performers. There are also cultural and educational activities all year round within dedicated buildings and facilities, including some beautiful gardens.

Buildings and Facilities

Main hall - A fully equipped 2,000 seat general purpose auditorium designed with a special emphasis on acoustic quality. The hall can be used for all type of performances as well as international conferences.

Small hall - A multi-function hall designed for flexibility. Both stage and audiences seating may be arranged in several configurations for drama and recitals, or maybe removed entirely for exhibitions and banquets.

Amphitheatre - Situated at the back of small auditorium and is used for presentations of various kinds of performing arts.

Multi-purpose Plaza - The space located midway between the small and large auditorium is another location for artistic and cultural activities.

Changing Exhibition Hall - Periodical artistic and cultural exhibitions along designated topics

Permanent Exhibition Hall - Exhibitions related to the Thai Nation's development in various important topics.

Multi-purpose Complex for Educational Services - Lecture and meeting room open all year round for organized lectures, demonstrations, training, and academic seminars.

The Cultural Library - Emphasizes the provision of culture orientated knowledge and is open all year round.

How to get there - Located in Huay Kwang, the Thailand Cultural Centre can easily be reached by road or by the MRT (Thailand Cultural Centre Metro Station) and then a short journey in a taxi. If travelling by road, head north on the Ratchadapisek Road and after the Metro station, U turn and then immediately turn left onto Thiam Ruam Mit Road. The Thailand Cultural Centre is then a short distance on the right.
