Sister Joan Evans PBVM

 

Sister Joan Evans lives and works in the slum communities of Klong Toey in Bangkok.

Sister's mission aims to encourage, assist and support children and young people from a disadvantaged background to obtain an education. Projects run by Sister include her fortnightly Milk Run project providing milk formula to over 150 babies, her annual Education project providing uniforms, shoes, socks and bags to over 600 students, her Fares and Food (2F) project during each term providing funding so students can travel to school and buy their lunch and the Family Food project which provides essential food assistance to many families.

Sister Joan's donation philosophy is simple - a little bit of money goes a long way.
