MESSAGE is a full parenting resource made up of more than 1500 English-speaking families and parents-to-be living in and around Paris. All nationalities are welcome to join, the only requirement is that you speak English and are parents or parents-to-be.
MESSAGE provides a network of contacts, support and information. Activities include events for expectant parents and children from newborn to Primary School age and beyond, including meetings for parents of adolescents, working moms, single parents, and 20-something's.
Additionally, MESSAGE organises several association-wide family outings such as a Father's Day Picnic, Christmas Party and our twice-yearly Bring and Buy Sale as well as speaker events covering such topics as bilingualism, workplace issues and pre/post-natal fitness. MESSAGE members enjoy the Quarterly Magazine and a website rich in parenting resources and online discussion forums. Additional services include Preparation for Childbirth and Parenting classes, breast-feeding support, and parent-to-parent recommendations of schools, medical practitioners, professionals and more.
The MESSAGE publication: "The ABCs of Parenting in Paris," the essential guide to thrive and survive as a family in Paris, was published in May 2006. This book can be ordered via our website.
